2012 Sponsorship Information

 Players and teams rely on sponsorships to keep individual fees down.  The competitive teams will have a team banner to hang on the dugout that will display the names of all eligible sponsors for the team.  The Modified teams will be required to provide a $75.00 sponsorship for the Indian Peaks Schedule Book. This sponsor will have their business card placed in the schedule book. Sponsorship forms are available on the website. Sponsorships are due February 15 for Competitive and April 15 for Modified in order to be recognized on the banner. Sponsorship criteria is as follows:

1. The main work of obtaining sponsors shall rest upon the individual competitive teams.
2. Sponsorships may not be used to guarantee team, position or playing time for players or to guarantee a coaching position on a team.
3. Teams are not tax-deductible, the club is as a 501 (c) 3, and therefore, any sponsor seeking a tax deduction must complete the sponsorship form.  FCGSC does not provide the team with any FCGSC tax information. Sponsors who need additional tax information or a W9 can contact FCGSC.
4. Parents sponsoring a team that is above their Team Fee (Team Fees are not Tax Deductible) may do so and that amount is Tax Deductible and completed on the sponsorship form.
5. Sponsors may contribute to more than one team if they choose.
6. Sponsorships MAY NOT come in the form of Liquor, Tobacco or Gambling adverting to a team or the club.
7. The method of sponsor recognition by teams shall be determined by the amount from the sponsor. (i.e., printing on a banner).
8. Sponsorships may pay for any and all team expenses, fees, equipment and uniform items agreed upon on the sponsor receipt. All funds should be made to FCGSC (or FC STARS)

a.   Each team seeking sponsors are required to complete the FCGSC Sponsorship Form for each sponsor that they bring to their team.
b.   Team Sponsors seeking additional tax ID information from the club will be required to contact the FCGSC Treasurer for this information.
        No tax ID information will be given out to teams.

Sponsor dollars that run through your teams and FCGSC are to be generated for the entire team.
